Addy head replacement

Hello everyone, I have a question. I sent my Addy into the doll hospital to get a new head with the intentions of taking the new wig and putting it on my old PM (1st ed.) head who's wig was bad. So I sent her in and she came back to me with new arms and legs as well, but when I looked at her, her eyelashes looked a little softer than my new Felicity's, and I was wondering if she was PM herself, but after comparing her to mine, I knew she was not...anyway so I send her back to get her old limbs put back on and they put another new head on her because the first one they replaced had a smudge on the nose (probably from the box). Now her eyelashes are very stiff, and it looks like the wig is glued on with too difficult of glue to remove it, so I'm stuck with a Mattel head and I'm happy with everything, but the eyelashes. My question to you is...does anyone know if they do indeed have softer lashes on some of the Mattel dolls? I'm wondering if that first head replacement was my imaginatiion. If they do have some with softer eyelashes, I want to send her back yet again to have them swap. Please anyone!!! Thank-you and sorry for all the grammer errors.

HI there,
Since Im new and am bored at work I spend alot of time reading the posts and I do recall someone with alot of dolls saying there was not really a big differance in the PM Addy and the mattel one. I believe she said this about Addy and maybe Kaya , perhaps it is the color of the eyelashes. I dont know exactly where the post is but I know it was pretty recent.

Thanks...I did look at the two faces and they are very similar...just the vinyl color and eyes seem different. I'm just trying to find out if anyone knows if they still have some semi soft lashed Addy's, or if anyone knows something about the glue used on the wigs. Thanks for responding and welcome to the board.

The Mattel Addy wigs are thinner than the pre-Mattel Addy wigs and don't style as well. I don't know about the eyelash question though.
